Since its establishment, ADESYN has been offering professional tourist guide services with its expert and experienced guides, organizing city, regional, and national tours for both local and foreign guests. Our tours are conducted with guides who are highly proficient in English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Greek, and Arabic, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience and receive accurate information about the places they visit.
All our guides hold official badges from the Ministry of Tourism and are members of TUREB (Union of Turkish Tourist Guides Association).
In addition to organizing private group tours, Adesyn also provides tour services for institutions and organizations, as well as guiding services for foreign visitors of these organizations.
Who Is Not a Guide?
- Individuals who approach tourists in front of a museum, claiming to provide information about the museum but having the ulterior motive of either improving their foreign language skills or guiding tourists to a nearby shop.
- Young individuals who transfer domestic groups to a holiday village or hotel and introduce themselves as “guides.”
- Employees who work in the operations department of a travel agency that occasionally accompanies a group on an overseas tour, wear a badge labeled “guide,” and introduce themselves as guides.
- Individuals who work for a foreign tour operator and provide information to foreigners at hotels in Turkey, even without work permits, also refer to themselves as “guides.”
Who Is a Guide?
- None of the above-mentioned individuals are considered guides. Unfortunately, due to incorrect practices and misrepresentations, the image of professional tourist guides is tarnished.
- Genuine guides are professional tourist guides certified by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
- A guide is a person with a certificate issued by the Ministry of Tourism who can best introduce Turkey to local and foreign tourists, assist them during their trips, and provide them with accurate information.
- Within the borders of the Republic of Turkey, individuals without a guide license issued by the Ministry cannot work as tourist guides. Those who do so may face prosecution by the Prosecutor’s Office in accordance with general provisions. Administrative actions may be taken by the Ministry against organizations employing unlicensed tourist guides.
